Permanent Makeup Methods

Permanent makeup is cosmetic tattooing, a  very specialized form of tattooing. There are many marketing terms out there like micro-pigmentation, nano-brow, micro-shading, microblading and they all mean the same thing, ‘tattooing on your makeup’. Tattooing/Pigmentation is the art and science of implanting pigment through the epidermal layer of the skin into the upper dermal layer of the skin. The epidermis is the outer layer of skin that is visible to all and is constantly shedding and renewing itself. Due to the fact the pigment was placed into the epidermis and the upper dermal layer, the color we have chosen for you will appear a bit darker then the healed and final result. When the color in the epidermis sheds you will see a lighter softer version of the pigment through a thin veil of healed epidermal skin.

Eyebrow microblading is the art of creating fuller thicker eyebrows through the use if a manual/machine tattooing technique. The process involves the application of detailed, fine lines on the eyebrow area that effectively mimic the natural color and fine hairs that form the eyebrow. First, a fine needle or blade is used to make very fine incisions on the skin in a shape and form that has been predetermined by the microblading specialist and the client. Next, pigment is either placed in the skin with a needle/machine or on the area that effectively soaks into the tiny incisions, creating a tattoo.
